Interesting observation: I can change the framerate to uncapped and I get the same FPS no matter how much I change the settings. I can change all settings to Low or Ultra and the in-Game FPS remain the same as I run around Hogsmeade. The awful textures don't look any better on Low vs Ultra. The only graphics setting that appears to make an obvious difference is cycling through the resolution options. Other than that, not much else appears to change the look of the game.
This "mod" [follow all instructions] helped me with the texture pop in temporarily til we get a real fix. At least, it's better than without these tweaks.
Back up the relevant files ofc before trying, but if this helps even one person with this issue that'd be dope.
hopefully they'll fix it soon
The more of us report the issue, the higher the chances of it being addressed.
Sadly, it's the best chance we have as no mods or tweaks will resolve this problem completely.
