I have the problem that i went into the cave but without healing potions. in the last fight everytime i die, because i can't heal myself. Has anyone a hint for me?

Reduce challenge level of the game for duration of this combat if nothing else helps.

If you crank it down to Story, you could literally stand still, get 'hit' continually, and you'd still come out ahead. Best strategy if you find yourself stuck and lacking resources.
