I've should have 100% my collection. But are still missing 2 items?

I've check every list available and is currently missing dwellings and large rugs. I've looked online for their locations and found the chests again. However I had aleady opened them both? But for some reason i didn't get the items.

Any ideas how to get them? Instead of starting over again, and hoping the game works that time?

Some chests items are randomized so specific locations as other sites state arent accurate.

If you're wanting to see whether you've found all chests, remember region maps and subzone maps with flags in hogwarts will show you chests and other collections things still yet not taken care of. like a 4/5 etc looking stat.

Also remember each vivarium room in the room of requirement has multiple chests too.

Thanks, But all my maps say I’ve got everything? And I’ve looted all the chests at each vivarium

did you do all butterflies? they will only show up on the map if you are near them. So maybe fly around with revelio and using a guide to find every butterfly.

Yeah, ive done that too... However i felt like some of them might be missing, What happends if you have started one and left? I might have done than doing my playthrough.

I would look up a guide looking at all the butterfly locations and see if they respawned.

I had to do this because i was missing 1 with all collection chest completed.

I'm also not sure if the hedge mazes count as well.

Butterflies and vivariums are where most things are located.

Hedge mazes don't count towards anything. They don't even give you anything of value for completion.

There was a bug that if you started the first butterfly chase (tutorial) and abandoned it, then did a second butterfly chase before finishing the first, then the first would not complete. Provided you have avoided this bug, starting, but not completing subsequent butterfly chases, results in the butterflies hovering over their end positions with a chest. I think they may stay like that. Consequently, if you are relying on a guide and go to the start position and see no butterflies, it doesn't necessarily mean you've completed that one. Circle round the area a bit and check the minimap.
