Do shiny FEMALE unicorns exist?? Can anyone confirm he/she has one?

Was trying to make it spawn for about 1,5 hours, saw about 100 unicorns (I perfected the method so that the cycle takes less than a minute), about 10% of them are shiny males, but not a single shiny female...

Is that the same like with the Graphorns where the shiny ones are exclusively females, but just the other way around? I was searching the web, but saw only one person saying he has a pair of shiny unicorns...

Shiny female was the first one I encountered just keep trying. Make sure you catch them all to reset the lair. I think I had up to 65K galleons selling so many animals trying to get all shiny. You can do it though.

ETA: you can get a shiny male graphorn too.

I reset the lair by "waiting until night/day" from the map, then saving and reloading, works as intended. And I caught them until only one spot was left in my sack, after that just saw who spawned and reloaded... Also, are you actually saying there are more than 1 animal in the lair?? At the beginning I was trying to search around for more animals, but after 15-20 times I came to the conclusion there's always only one unicorn in the lair (I'm talking about the one in the eastern edge of the Forbidden Forest up north, this is the only lair I found so far).

I don't mind mods, I made mods for a couple of games myself, but I don't think I would install that particular one (since the whole point of a satisfying feeling of finding something rare would be lost). Maybe I would use it once in this particular case only for the reason of confirmation shiny FEMALE unicorns really exist...
Could you please give me the link or tell the name of this mod? Is it on Nexus?

It's insane... For two hours I force-spawned about 150-200 unicorns, not a single shiny female... Either the chance is indeed set to some ridiculously low value, or my game is bugged, or they only spawn in some other lairs and never in one I'm at...

Yes they do on my second play through i have every shiny beast except for graphorn I just gave up with only 1 place it spawns and the one at a time it was just a chore

Wow, installed the 'Only Shiny Beasts' mod, went back to the game, the 2nd unicorn that spawned was a shiny female! They do exist after all!.. :))))
In this case shiny female unicorn wound up to be one true unicorn, every bit of pun intended! ;)

The only thing, after catching the shiny female unicorn, I closed the game and removed the mod, but it seems that only shiny beasts continue to spawn... After I removed the mode, I reloaded the unicorn lair couple of times, every time there were golden unicorns... Then went to check nearby Hippogriff's lair, they were both black (on the way I added a pair of shiny Hippogriffs to my collection ;)). Then did everything that was usually recommended to reset things in the game, still seeing only shiny beasts... Don't understand what's going on, I better read some 'known issues' and users' comments on the mod's Nexus page...

I either installed it only for Unicorns and Graphorns, as they have only one spawn and even when forcing a respawn by waiting, saving and immediately reloading the chances are bad.

The only NOT shiny creatures I have now are the Hippogryph and Thestral from the Deluxe Edition, Highwing and Hazel the Unicorn.


Glad to see a fellow FC Primal-fan here by the way. :)
