Report a translation problem
All the Merlin trials can be solved (I did so, and others have the respective achievement as well). Of course it's still possible that your game bugs out in a situation that works fine for others, but it may make sense to check if you're perhaps just misunderstanding the puzzle or haven't found the solution yet.
If you're talking about the trials where you have to rotate the cube on top of a pillar until the symbols on the cube and the pillar match, then the situation that you're reporting is not a bug, you just haven't found the solution to the puzzle yet. Getting the orientation of the symbols right is part of the puzzle.
