texture loading

did the patch just broken up the textures loading? mine was set to ultra

but when i paused the game then back to it , the texture seems low

Yes it has, i deleted config files nd seem to working back now.

yeah, same here, the patch really broke something... i'm starting to get the infamous "PS1 graphic"

i guess i'll stop playing until they fix this problem, it really take you out of the game when the PS1 graphic starts appearing, especially during cutscene...

Texture settings doesn't even do anything in game. Try low or ultra it'll look the same. You get the ♥♥♥♥ graphics because you either have the game installed on a HDD that can't keep up with the world loading, or on a dying SSD

I'm running on a brand new SSD. Before the patch my textures looked great. Ran the game fine on all ultra settings and ray tracing. Now its hitching and the textures look like a PS1 game. They broke something.

I got same problem PS1 Grapich aswel everyting load slow and at the same time, everywhere you look, texture start reloading and loading over and over again and looks so much bad.
Everything was beutiful and nice before now everything looks like roblox lmao

Same, not only that but raytracing is completely broken now too. Looked phenominal before the patch, one of the best looking games of the year. Now its muddy super low resolution textures and low quality models with very harsh pop in. Have to just turn off raytracing now as everything is a BRIGHT white light now. My performance was fine before the patch, but I lost about 15% fps after the patch even though it looks worse. My GPU is hardly being utilized and CPU rarely goes above 50% usage.

The problem of the texture is like something related to "Culling" In unreal engine, Saddly i find no way to change it, Culling is what cause the texture to being broken, I can't find any rules to turn it off or modify it

I fixed the problem, Delete the config folder > user > you > appdata > local > hogwarts > saved > Config < Delete this folder, then make sure to delete the folder from dump, Launch game, Game will start a clean loading of new setting and new config folder. everything fixed

Update : Is gonna help a bit but changing zones will cause the texture to go crazy again but at least for me is less evident now
