Tomb of Treachery moths not working

So I'm doing the cursed tomb treasure map, and when I get to the Tomb of Treachery the moths won't follow me when I cast lumos.

am I missing something here??? could a mod be screwing with lumos' function or something???

you have shine them at them by being closer to them to move off then shot the door so they stick on it

That worked for me. I got into the room with the inferi, but then...nothing?
