Fwooper trapped in bandits camp, south-west of Keenbridge
I found a Fwooper trapped in a cage at a bandits camp south-west of Keenbridge. Unlike the other trapped animals this cage seems to have no lock or way to open it. Anyone know of a way you can open it and save the fwooper? I know you don't really need to but as an animal lover I just don't like not being able to rescue this one.

I couldn't open the cage either :( Had to leave the lil baby there all alone

I just got this as well, was trying to see if anyone fixed it. I know came to these south-west camps earlier and even get a fwooper myself, but since I took up a quest after that dealt with these same camps it seemed to have re-spawned the enemies and the trapped animals but no lock to save them. It's a small bug but still very sad. I hope they can get this bug fixed

There was no lock on that chest when I checked unless invisible and level 4

Come on guys let the dev's have a little fun with OCD gamers.
Gotta catch' em all except one. :steammocking:

Still hitting this as of March 13th. Hoping this gets patched because it makes me sad :steamsad:

The issue is that the camps respawn after a few days, but locks (like chests) never do. So if you opened the lock on a cage, and then revisit that camp after a few days, the camp will be reset, enemies will have respawned, and the cage will be closed again. But the chests you opened will still be open, and any locks you removed will still be gone.

This is quite annoying. The cages should not re-trap the animal if you can't get them out. I just went back to a small bandit camp not far from Keenbridge (below the Fwooper den). Not only is a Fwooper stuck in a cage with no lock - its the SHINY fwooper. *sigh*

Glad I'm not the only one that found this sad/annoying. I really thought I would be!

Yeah this is a known bug which shows no sign of being fixed anytime soon. Fortunately the modding community won't leave those little critters at the mercy of ruthless poachers. To set them free just use the Open All Cages mod[www.nexusmods.com].
