The one that gets me is when there's just one chest in the room, and it's also locked... with a lock of the same level. Why?
But yes, I agree, using a lockpick minigame for a spell that is supposed to unlock was a bit superfluos
And also I never saw Hermione or Harry do any lockpicking.
The mini-game is to show you it's not a fluke. -LPL
But I guess people wanna rant.
Completing the game once: ha, ok, cool...
Playing a second time: why do I put time into this?
3rd time: WTF?
4th time: I quit.
You don't even have to finish a playthrough on every house to get the achievements, you only need to get to the map chamber!
It's lifeless already that they couldn't not put a mini-game for unlocking a locked door.
- Characters don't adapt to weather.
- They don't sleep
- etc.
- the list can be quite long
I think Shadow of War is more enjoyable even despite the grinding.
I think main problem is that they wanted to make it open world for everything to bypass loading screen. This prevented deeper details in the game that would have made it maybe more enjoyable. It also makes the game heavier.
Almost everytime I get to a door in Hogwarts, I have to wait about more or less 3 sec for the stuff to load behind. (game is installed on SSD) Not different than a loading screen, except I can just step back.
The minigame is annoying enough as is, why does this spell need a leveling system for the
same Alohomora spell? It's still the SAME spell, same purpose of hacking locks.
Because you start with easy locks that aren't a fluke that you can rack, then you got to open door with doors that require LPL to open!
Love the math.
Also hate the way Alohomora has been done. COmplete waste of my time.
