How do i change my hippogriff mount?

just as the title says i'm curious as to how to change my hippogriff mount and can't figure out how to do it, do i need to buy the dlc in order to change the monut?

I think I did it from the mounts menu in the gear section. Kinda like the broom.

i did look there but no hippogriff showed up [except highwing] despite having one in my inventory, maybe possibly a bug?

Did u pre order the game? Sadly u cant fly any othet mount but highwing unless u buy dark arts pack wich gains u access to a thestral mount

no I did not pre-order the game i just heard of it recently regarding how the developers were anti-lgbtq or something, i'm not sure what exactly i kinda forgot.

Lol if you played this game you would know that is far from true.

But yes yo get the Onyx Hippogrif and Thestral mount you needed to pre-order. However I think one might have come with the Deluxe version and the other with pre-order but I can't say which one.

But yes yo get the Onyx Hippogrif and Thestral mount you needed to pre-order. However I think one might have come with the Deluxe version and the other with pre-order but I can't say which one.

I believe it's the Thestral that comes with the deluxe edition. I pre-ordered the standard edition and have the Onyx Hippogrif

if you mean you caught a wild hippogriff and want to use that, you cannot use those as a Mount

There are only 3 flying mount options: Highwing (Default for everyone), Onyx Hippogriff (Pre order hippogriff), and Thestral (Deluxe version)

Capturing wild animals doesn't let you use them as a mount, if that's what you're trying to do

I thought you could use the Graphorn as a ground mount only?

I know there's a slot of a ground mount only.

I preordered game to get dark arts pack, completed high keep mission to get highwing.. yet I still cant find dark arts clothes or use dark thestral mount as that mount icon is locked?

One can see preorder stuff in their inventory, but the game must be progressed to unlock some items: either through accessibility, or quest completion. Without preorders, a player would NOT know about any of those things till the game unlocked them naturally through gameplay.

I call this the Xmas syndrome - you got presents but can't open them yet.

yes, Thestral and black hippogriff unlocks at the same time as Highwing
