Target locking on PC
I need a sanity check, because this is driving me insane - especially during the crossed wands duels. How are you guys finding targeting on the PC? It's CAPSLOCK to lock on to an enemy and then the arrow keys to cycle targets, of all keys. That ain't happening - what do people use, as the auto-targeting is horrendous when there are any more than two enemies.

Just posted this in another thread earlier.

I was having targeting trouble too. I fixed my issues by going into settings -> Gameplay Settings (Controller with a gear icon) -> and setting 'Camera-relative Targeting' to 'off'

It makes a hell of a difference.

And don't use target locking. Get used to aiming and facing the enemies you want to hit.

Oh my Lord, thank you for this! What a world of difference.
Glad it helped :47_thumb_up:

The default targeting system is far too janky. I was having a ton of trouble taking on multiple enemies until I changed it.

True.

Worst targeting system that I can remember in recent years from a video game.

Totally. Also sometimes I would be almost face-hugging and enemy and trigger like Incedio as an example and my guy would cast it at a 45 degree angle to someone next to me. It felt like the biggest enemy was the targeting system not the giant spider. XD

Through my entire playthroughI only ever used targeting lock on PC when mislicking while trying to press tab to drink a potion or release a plant. It's terrible and only makes fights harder to navigate for me.

This^^ forget target lock and just use the camera spin it's alot easyer than trying to focus on a target and then missing the dodge roll or protengo getting slapped because your trying to lock on

I don't use it. I target manually, with right click.

The mouse targeting is good, no reason to target lock at all in the game.

I accidentally target locked once later in the game and almost rebound the button to the other side of my keyboard lol

Explain to me how to disable targeting in this game? I don't need it at all, but sometimes the character himself takes the enemy to the target during the battle and it becomes unplayable.
The Caps Lock button does not disable targeting.

It does, but you have to be hovering over the same target, which makes it super tedious.
