Can't Sell Potions and Herbs?
This seems like a basic thing that I should be able to do. Also, when brewing potions and seeing i have a missing ingredient, I can't mouse-over the recipe to see what it's source is. Feels like the UI needs some work. I hope they make it better over time.

I think you can find the source of each ingredient in the collections menu. Selling potions that you can make millions of for free wouldnt really make sense, but it would make you rich. :steamhappy:

Well, you shouldn't be able to make them for free. The sourcing of ingredients and effort required to make them should balance with the profit made for selling them so it's not easy money. With most open world games these days is the expectation of a balanced virtual economy.

If you need to get rid of healing potions jump off a cliff.. just high enough to take some health.. then use one.
From what I've heart from one of Twitch streamer. Personal shop quest in hogsmeade currently exclusive to PS5, wait a year maybe it will come to other platform.

Reports says parts of the code to start the quest have been patched out now, sadly.

As for making more money, Nab Bag creatures and sell them, and if 120 Galleons a pop isn't enough there's a mod to set the prices to as much as 1,000 Galleons.

Yea, the potions cost materials.

There are some materials that you cannot farm on your own in the Room of Requirements.

Ashwinder eggs, Spider fangs, Horklump juice and some others you can only get while going around the world

So would owning a shop. But from what I understand it's only useful for selling your gear you don't need.
I just think for it to really pay off it should give you an income stream. Just to make the quest worthwhile.
Granted I don't have PS5 but I've watched the videos so it looks like all you really get is just a place to sell loot but no income stream which would actually make it worthwhile.

Oh nice! Didn't know that. I will make a separate save game, just in case. Thanks.

So that means, it's not a must have, or at least only help a tiny bit. No game breaking if not having a shop. Good to know.

So you do a quest to get your own shop just to sell the exact same stuff you have been with vendors..? Do you get a bigger return or get to choose the price or something..? The hell is the point in that?
