if im correct there is a memory leak in the game that makes your ram run max, when it should not

Since the game doesn't have a memory leak, I'm going to assume its not going to be fixed.

High ram usage is not a leak. A memory leak is not hardware specific, every one of us would be experiencing it if it were happening. Since there's not hundreds of thousands of people reporting it, its not happening.

If you are getting Critical warnings, or BSODs showing out of memory, then something on your system has an issue.

High ram use is fine, and beneficial, as you're not just wasting hardware capabilities. Its not like high cpu use, its not going to throttle you. The only time its an issue is if you are getting the out of memory crashes.

There was a couple VRAM related memory leaks but they said they fixed those in the patch notes

Well i dunno why my cpu is running st 35% and my gpu is at 96% vram at 89 amd ram at 94%
Running the game on low settings i should be able to run it on medium with no frame rate drip but still habe stuttering and frame rate drops.

My specs meet the recommended aka pass it

Let's start there. What are your specs?

Just for sake of definition though, a memory leak is when cached data in RAM is never released after it is no longer being used. In terms of a game, things are constantly getting loaded into your RAM around, so that you don't have to deal with loading screens every time you change rooms. However if nothing is ever released back, the inevitable will always occur, Out Of Memory Critical warning and crash.

high memory usage is not by itself a sign of a memory leak. memory usage constantly increasing over time, inevitably leading to a program or entire system crash is a memory leak.

there is no memeory leak.

Game using like 12gb vram or so on me at 4k max settings running a amd 6800xt and ram is around 21gb usage. I have 64gb ram installed. You just need a better system.

The recommended memory is 16GB
The problem only occurs with Nvidia cards.
Even with Settings on Low I have frame drops to sometimes below 10FPS (1440p) RTX3070Ti, Ryzen 9 5900x 32GB

And the game takes over 20GB of Ram for nothing. Still Loading times on Doors
