Pro tip if you see a legendary chest, those are the big.. I think silver and blue chests? They are the biggest chests in the game; they always give you a piece of unidentified legendary gear. You can skip the chests and remember their locations and come back to them. THe chests give you gear for your level.
I would only open these chests every 10ish levels. Also the clothing store guy stocks legendary gear thats just as good as you can find in said boxes so don't think store gear is garbage because its not. Its a great way to find those missing pieces you need to fill out your gear slots.
There are large size metal looking chests with ornate designs, those chests gurantee a legendary drop. I would suggest avoiding opening those until you get into higher levels then go farm them mid / late game.
I just opened every chest I found, because there's no way I'd remember or be bothered to return.
I’ve picked up Legendary Gear for the level above my current multiple times that was worse than what I had on. Sometimes I’ll get gear for my current level as well that’s 20 defense or atk lower than gear a few levels lower than me I’m already using.
And it seems any bonuses to the gear doesn’t alter the price at all either for buying or selling.
