Henrietta's Hideout BUG
When I play through the mission there's a statue I have to stand on to get a fire cube, I didn't see these statue before but saw that there was a puzzle further that needed a fire cube so I tried to take it there. I forgot the shifting tiles were a thing and the fire cube was permanently stuck in the wall. I later realised I had to break some barrels to even see that the cube wasn't meant to go out of that room, though simply standing on the cube would let me get out with it. After like 20 minutes of trying to see how I can enter that room I gave up realising it's just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ level design.

I've encountered no issues at all, in the entire game, with cubes.

But I have been stumped a few times.

Be sure you're playing correctly before blaming it on the developers.

If I had a video to show you how much the level broke further I'd show you. The game's level design is great but that one side-quest is very poorly made.

I'm having the same issue. You can fix the cube issue by restarting the dungeon. carefully place that fire cube on the rotating platform to get it out (you'll have to get over the button and then wiggle yourself in there until it activates and spins). before you take it over the trap however, hit the trap (on the wall) with arresto momentum and it will freeze the trap so you can carry it across. When I did this the cube that's supposed to be back there appeared after I opened the door and it shoved the bigger fire cube out of the way. All that said I cannot for the life of me figure out why I can't get to the appearance item on the other side of the wall on the opposite side of the chamber. I'm beginning to think this particular dungeon is bugged tf out for me.

The wall ate my cube too lol... BrEaD1402, there are false walls in the back room that allow access to a quest, I dont remember if there is a cosmetic there or if it is the location you are talking about...

Just found it, spent so long and all you have to do is just walk up to the wall directly under where the stairs end

Just leave the area, it resets the cube. You are 100% supposed to get the cube out of the room it's in and to a platform for it later in the castle though. Don't blame the game because you can't figure it out

I thought to get into the room with the map I had to first do the leaf and fire thing and I didn't know I had to go in the room first, the cubes I used to get in de-materialised when I tried to move them away from the entrance. I suppose this issue could be fixed if they properly gave every cube a distance limit. I'm not trynna make a general statement about the game design (which is great) but rather a statement about a really buggy side-side quest.

There actually is no bug though. If you're using the fire cube in the room behind the three rotating statues you just have to leave and reset the area, like in a lot of older games.

There is more than one way to get that specific fire cube for that puzzle and there is also a different fire cube that can be used for it.

What you just described is a bug. There's also only one proper way to get that fire cube

Yeah, I did the same thing, but you are okay. There are enough cubes for every puzzle. You don't reuse them. You have to find the other cubes. It's not obvious but some walls disappear by standing in front of them. Also, cast the slow spell on those moving floors and they won't bother you.

It is not a bug, it's a design choice to not have the items respawn that get swept away by the floor and have the player reset the area by leaving and entering again. Games have made similar design choices for decades.
