Help, I can't tickle the pear !
Anyone else with the same problem?

Yes it won't let me, I found the page but no matter what the prompt won't come up. I've tried rebooting, doing other quests, and letting time pass but won't come up.

Never had a problem tickling the pear, you just needs to know where to look.

You only can do it once you progress through the story a bit and get a quest from Nearly Headless Nick. Then you can access the kitchen from that point on. It's early on though.

might be something else, but for me I was tapping F and hearing the pear giggle, so I figured it wasn't working. You have to hold F a while to actually confirm the prompt, like how you enter most dungeons in the game

That would explain why there was no prompt. I collected the page before that quest. I have done that quest by now. I'm going to try it tomorrow.

You won't ever have to tickle it again to get in, the door will just always automatically open for you after that quest.

You won't ever have to tickle it again to get in, the door will just always automatically open for you after that quest.

It has worked now. I got the prompt and could open the door and you are right from now on it opens without the prompt.

You'll get that quest, but you won't meet Nick. This quest has different beginnings dependent on your house.
