Last patch causing stuttering
As the title says.
I've been playing it for 30+ hours with no performance issues, until last patch released and now I experience constant, and I mean constant (every 3 seconds) stuttering and huge frame drops.

Specs
RTX 3060 12gb
i5 10400f
16gb RAM

*Running at 1.5gb/s nvme ssd

I've tried:
-tweaking .ini
-gpu scheduling thing
-lowest graphical settings possible

Still stuttering :/

I'm in the same boat, Been playing on Ultra for over 40 hours with no issues, after last patch my game stutters a lot. Often freezing for a couple seconds when casting a spell or moving. I tried to lower all the graphics options, but it hasn't helped at all.

Just waiting on next patch now I guess

Hello,
It's exactly the same for me, I've been playing 30+ hours as well and everything was fine until the last patch, my game is stuttering constantly, it's unplayable... I tried everything to fix it, but nothing works...

Same here, huge framerate drops for no reason and then if i press escape and wait a little it stops. Framerate goes from 60fps down to around 5fps and then back to 60

Same for me, and for some reason using upscale doesnt help any more. Before messing around with the upscale help my performance a bit, now either turning it on or off the performance stays the same

I just wanted to pop back in and let you all know that I just fixed this issue for me. I had to reinstall my NVidia graphics driver manually from the website ( https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/drivers/) instead of using GeForce Expirience.

After manually installing and restarting my computer I no longer have the stuttering and lag that started after the latest patch. I am back to playing on Ultra with no issues. Hope this helps some of you!

Edit** Also make sure your windows is up to date!

Same for me, was averaging 72ish FPS with dips down into the high 60s. Now seeing dips into the high 50s. Lame. I'll try the GeForce Experience and see, but generally not a fan of that thing.

My problem is frametime, the game run in 60fps in 99% smooth, but this is inconstant
because of frametime, in some locations.
I locked it to 45fps and the frametime improved a lot, but it's still choppy in a few spots like hogesmeat. But it was the best way I found to play 99% of the time with fluidity.

For everyone who's experiencing the same, I just fixed my stuttering issues by disabling Nvidia DLSS, you can use AMD FSR 2 or no upscaling at all, and it runs fine now

Stutterings aren't 100% gone tho, it will still sometimes freeze when entering hogsmead or casting spells for the first time, but the often annoying freezes and frame drops seems to be gone

For more hardcore measures, and I can't assure if this have helped, but I also disabled CFG for Hogwarts Legacy only (at windows defender, exploit protection).
*Don't disable CFG for everything, add a exception only for this game, otherwise you'll be vulnerable.
