Unidentified Gear purchase bug

I went to Gladrags Wizardwear store to check if there was any new stuff and then I noticed an unidentified robe. It was the first time I've ever seen unidentified gear for sale and I proceeded to buy it. For a sum of 0 gold (almost went bankrupt there). After that, I checked my inventory but no option was available to interact with that unidentified gear.

Trying to identifying it in the Requirement Room doesn't work because it can't be detected in my inventory. I tried to sell it to a vendor and it is possible to sell it back for 0 gold.

THIS. He always has an item for 0 gold and I can't do anything with them.

This. Except in my case it looked like a robe, but was marked as "unidentified head gear"

Now it's just uselessly taking up inventory space

you can buy but you cant identified it, or destroy it, or equip it, but you can sell it back lol
