The world outside of Hogwarts is too large.

Finished the main story tonight.

I wish there was more Hogwarts and less of everywhere else. The amount of time spent outside the castle, and repetitive mine or cave quests just felt boring after awhile. The outside world feels so empty and so huge. Little to no desire to want to explore anything outside of quests.

Don't get me wrong the game is great.. just personally feel like there was so much wasted potential. Those first few hours inside the castle were magically, but after a little while you quickly realize its not as big as you think and there's not much to it.. With how large the whole map I wish more time was spent on the scale of the castle and missions to go along with it. Quidditch? Whatever happened there? With how much time was spent outside of Hogwarts devs time could of done something great with it..

Not here to write a review, its getting a recommended from me.

I disagree. I think it leaves the developers room to add and expand a lot more than a smaller map would.

I enjoyed the game but i also would have liked to have spent much more time in the castle or around the castle. Exploring the rest of the world just didnt grab me as much as hogwarts or hogsmeade did. The black forest was pretty cool but the rest was just random castles here and there.

Its big yes but if you speed across the land with your broom you can reach far locations pretty quickly.

You are joining the school from 5th year for a reason - to explore more Wizard Villages during non-class time is the school policy. Don't miss it. Think about you are a boarding school student and you can go out twice a week while the other lower years can't . Enjoy it and embrace it.

My only complaint so far is that after a bit you DO spend way more time outside of Hogwarts than in it. It got to the point that I almost forgot I was playing a "Harry Potter" game until I needed to go to my room of requirements to upgrade my gear. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy exploring the wizarding world and they did a wonderful job of it, but tbh I wish more of the quests to learn spells lasted longer or we got to go to class more than once or twice. I mean, we learned to make potions from potions class ONCE, then we learned spells there lol.
