I've heard there's a way to change something in the game files that makes the infamous foes respawn? Has anyone done this and can confirm it's easy to do & works? Because I have zero experience in scripting like that.

I have the bug too. Specifically because of the Marunweem Lake > Coastal Mine > Grodbick goblin down that elevator (He's from the Lodgok's Loyalty quest). I checked my map (when you zoom out all the way you see a list of what's left to do) and all the other infamous foes, he's the one that's not registering for me.

I've gone down in there 4 times now. He only showed up the one time during the quest. So... No idea if there's a work around. I haven't seen anythign relating to the game files you're talking about.

I've submitted a bug report and a ticket to Portkey. No idea if it'll do anything, but I'm at 99% completion and that's the only thing stopping me from being 100% Lol.

We'll see what happens I guess.

Thank you! About your earlier post. I got 67/67 foes.
It's just the challenge that sticks at 11/12 and isn't counting.
Really sucks as I cannot get 100% either.
If I zoom out it says 18/18 so I guess that's fine.
I got a feeling that Bardolph Beaumont's Corpse didn't trigger for me. This is where the most complaints are coming from. Or Haggarty as this one died by some glitch that insta killed her like she fell off a cliff. I didn't even hit that foe once.

Did you end up trying this save fix? If so- Did you get exp when you loaded in to make up for whatever was lost?


Quick question- During the quest where you save Onai from the Ashwinders... Did you kill Gwendolyn Zhou? Or did she disappear somehow or clip through the floor or anything?

For me, that's the infamous foe that I think is missing... She clipped through the floor for me and I completely forgot, but I can't go back and kill her :(

Yea this is why I think it's Bardolph Beaumont's Corpse, as I've overwritten the save after that and didn't pay too much attention to challenges that early in the game.
And no I haven't tried this fix yet. But I'm just waiting for now I think.
It's just sad I can't unlock the last achievements. But that's it.

I did kill Gwendolyn Zhou. Haggarty on the other hand is the one that glitched through the floor and fell to her death for me. It still counted as a kill but I don't think it crossed the challenge part.

I didn't want to wait for them to get back to me, and I backed up my save in another folder just in case-

I did the reddit post. You still get achievements on steam and the exp for the kill for leveling BECAUSE
After adjusting the database, you log in, and all the infamous bosses are alive again, but you kill one more boss and it fills in whatever was missing.

It's not a perfect fix, and I have no idea if there's anything negative to it, but just thought I'd share it did give 100%. Gave me the exp so I leveled to 40 from 39 (That's all I had left), and filled in that last slot of the missing foe.

I'm not sure if the infamous foes are ALL still alive (I only killed one of 'em), or what will happen if I kill them again and go over the amount I've killed...

Buuut yeah. A temporary work around I guess. Seems great.

I doubt it will do much harm. Since it's a single player game.
Exploit and mod all you want I guess.
But for me, nexusmods is just a thing that feels wrong to me. I'll wait 1-2 months and see if they fixed it. Else I might give it a try. I want to have 100% trophies on fun games.

What about those on console? This save file won't do anything for PS5 owners. Does anyone have a fix? this is so annoying. With only 12 infamous foes, how does Avalanche mess this up???

I had the same issue, the inferius in the sweater guy was bugged. Either the suggestion of going back and finding all of the journal entries regarding his story and the next time I booted up the game fixed it, or the update before firing up the game the day after I noticed the bug fixed the issue for me.

Ok, I seem to have a fix. Actually, it's a mission. You have to get the troll mission from some gal who wants you to kill her pet troll. Once you get there, he is the last infamous foe.
