Chinese Chomping Cabbage Practice in Herbology Class Bug

When you collect Chinese Chomping Cabbages in the first Herbology class, you're supposed to be able to use them on the training dummy. Well, mine never appear in my inventory when I collect them. RB + tapping right stick does nothing. The keyboard equivalent does nothing. I don't have any cabbages. I tried reloading, and re-collecting. Still bugged.

It's L1, not R1. Equivalent on keyboard is TAB. Hold it down. Also combat plants and potions do not appear in tbe inventory you can access through the field book

Well, I don't know how I mistook an L for an R, but yeah, that worked. Thanks, Bubblystrawberry.

I'm having a similar problem, I can select the cabbages and throw them out but they don't attack the dummy, I've targeted it, attacked it myself, but the cabbages won't attack and I can't progress.

How do you select different plants? Hold tab?

This is not the same issue as being described in this thread. I'm having the same issue as you, modded or unmodded. Another of my friends has reported this as well. It's a genuine bug unrelated to what buttons you're pressing.
