Potential Bug. Infamous Foes counter

when you go to the map and scroll all the way out it will tell you all the collectibles and other things that are in that area. for example it will tell me how many Infamous Foes that are in that area and tell me how many i killed. well its bugged, for instance Hogwarts valley there are 4 infamous foes to kill, 1. The White Wolf 2. The Grim 3. Quagmire Troll and 4. Alexandra,s Troll. i looked at my collections and i have all those enemies listed but yet the map says im missing one. and its not just that area its all of them, which makes it harder to keep track of how many i have because i only need 2 more to complete the infamous foes challenge but i cant tell where to go and get the last 2 because the games counter is F-ed up.

At least one of em is in a dungeon like place and not in the outside world. Not sure if it's part of a quest, but I do recall running into the same issue untill I started venturing into dungeon things and I found some evil goblin.

One of my last infamous foes was a part of a side quest, while the map regions stated I had killed all infamous foes, the challenges said I was missing one, but later after doing all my side quests, apparently one had it, I do remember another, but it's also a side quest, so I suggest if you have side quests to do, maybe do them and that will clear them up, or you'll need to find/discover them &/or just keep doing Main Story quests, as one I know comes from Tobbs

I have the same issue. I killed all 21 infamous foes (3 quest related & optional). As I zoom out on the map it says I killed 18/18 foes.
My enemies counter is at 67/67.
But just the challenge stays at 11/12. Visited every spot twice to double check if I missed one by accident. But no.

I can't get my game to 100% either. Because of that.

Same thing happened to me, i went back to an older save and figured out it's "Alexandria's Troll" that's bugged, for me at least. I killed all 4 infamous foes again and still says 3/4, not sure why but hopefully they fix this.

i figured out the "riparian Troll" from "Beeting a curse" side quest in the Dale Family tomb, east of Brocburrow also counts towards infamous foes and was the one i was missing. hope this helps

I have the same issue. I have killed all 4 and the troll hasnt marked as been killed. But i have done the side mission and it wont let me repeat. I cannot get 100 without it.

Alot of people keep responding like this that they've simply missed one boss.
There are 21 Infamous Foes in total. 18 in open world and 3 are quest related. The bug is that we're not missing one but it simply doesn't tick off the last challenge for infamous foes. You'll end up with a 11/12 infamous foe challenge you can't complete. So you can't get 3 achievements.

Despite you've all the 67/67 enemies and if you zoom out on the big map it'll say 18/18 infamous foes. Which means you've killed them all. And as they don't respawn, you're just stuck.

And these achievements won't be possible to obtain:
Reach level 40.
Spend all talent points.
Complete all collections.

I personally went 3 times to each location with an guide on my other screen to make sure I didn't miss one.

It really is just a bug and I can confirm Portkey Games is aware of the bug and hopefully they'll fix this soon.

Makes Sense, sounds like a bug for you, my friend and i are playing on playstation and had the same issue as you with collection being at 100% and figured out we had ran into the enemy and added it to the collection but not killed it. Hope they get that fixed for you thats lame.

I play on Steam I got the 12th today. I needed to go into the Dale Family Tomb. I don't think I ever got the quest. The map was bare when I went in but the troll was there and I was able to kill him.

I think the issue is that the game for some reason counts The White Wolf and The Grim as one Foe. Just confirmed "The Riparian Troll" (part of "Beeting a Curse" side quest) is the 4/4 infamous foe for Hogwarts Valley region. There is also a collectors chest only obtainable during this quest, so clearly those of you claiming "can't get 100% without this foe" aren't actually that close to getting 100% lol
