This Merlin trial makes me want to kill something help

so I have done this trial over and over and over and it just wont work. Its simple, I need depulso to launch it off a ramp across a gap onto the target zone. however, no matter how many times I try, depulso just cannot launch the boulder far enough to make the jump. Is there a trick to depuslo I am missing here?

Use wingardium leviosa on those boulder challenges.

Have you attempted to Wingardium Leviosa the boulder into the the target zone instead?

Not sure which specific trial you are referring to, but so far I havent had any issue with that type... Have you tried spamming Depulso and/or letting the boulder gain momentum, and casting Depulso when it is at the end of the ramp?

Can you depulso it farther up the hill then blast it downhill?

Depulso is your best bet for these types of challenges for the first part of the game, and it's faster than the "correct" alternative in most of this type of Merlin Trial, but if it's not working for you, mid-game spell Wingardium Leviosa (not the early game Levioso) is how you're "supposed" to do it.

You have to use Depulso on these larger sphere boulders, I found Wingardium didn't even lift them off the ground.

Just spam Depulso

Rapid fire Depulso to give it more speed.

I just did that one today. Failed once. Spent too long trying to line it up on my next attempt but finally managed it.

Depulso then Arresto Momentum to position yourself then depulso etc, rinse and repeat.
