Where did my FPS counter go?

After this last update my FPS counter from MSI Afterburner is gone...

Anyone else having this issue?

You gotta use steam to run this game anyways, it's a simple solution to show your fps.

Mate youre not hearing me. I dont want to use steam overlay, nor will I. I've had no issue with the FPS counter appearing before today, and now it's suddenly gone. I'm asking if this has happened to anyone else and if they know the solution.

No it doesnt solve the issue.
He wants to know why MSI's fps counter suddenly doesnt work anymore and is looking for a solution to THAT.

By the way, NVIDIAS FPS display stopped working for me aswell from one day to another and has not been working in HL ever since.

Update to the latest beta that is working fine for me.

True, but when it's not on I can't shake the feeling like the game is running worse than normal.
