Stuck with Sebastian and Ominis

Hi there, i started the side quest "in the shadow of studies" (i guess that's the english quest name)
it's the quest where you follow sebastian and Ominis in the scriptorium to learn about ominis aunt.

I'm in front of a door i should be reparing with "Reparo"
Problem is when i was scouting Poudlard with revelio i already saw the Aura of something broken and i though a secret passage was close so i used reparo... and it worked behind the walls....

So here i am stuck with a door that i have to repair.. when it's already repaired and the NPC are just asking me to use reparo when it has no effect...

Any idea ?

You can break the plaque on the wall if you target it at the right angle and then repair it to progress.

Just going to bump this since I did the same exact thing before the mission exploring the castle. Who's solution does work. Thank you!
