Can't clear exclamation point on gear icon in menu screen...
I've viewed all the items and yet the exclamation point doesn't go away...what am I doing wrong! :(

It's probably a wand handle, you have not unlocked wand handles yet. It's ok, progress to the point of getting your wand. If it's not that then I don't know (because that's what it was for me).

Yeah I think it was that. I got another piece of gear though and it finally cleared and yet I *still* don't have handles! Haha. Thanks!

Try the robe hood on/off.

Yeah it was the Wand Handle. I had the same issue too. I had gotten the "Orbicular - Violet" before unlocking the wand, that was causing the exclamation point to not disappear once the wand was unlocked and equipped it was gone.

The exclamation points are so annoying for someone with OCD, lol. I finally had to just ignore them because every 3 seconds you find something new that turns them back on... :(
