Is the plot in the game too kind?
I heard that there are practically no conflicts at school and all the characters are kind, that is, there is no intrigue in the game?

There's some intrigue but it happens outside of the school. There are darker plot points involving one classmate. The story feels in line with the books and is not the most complicated.

Clearly, then it is not interesting.

If the books never interested you then the game's story probably won't either, yeah.
I'm really enjoying the game, but every encounter feels like you get a participation award just for being there and the characters overpraise and overthank you for doing menial stuff.

It's kind of a kids game. The enemies are evil and bad, the worst of the worst. Everyone else is friendly and nice. After reading the books, I expected more inter-house rivalry and was surprised by how well all the students get along. There's not really a morality system either. You can complete quests for people then turn on them, and you'll still get more people offering quests for you.

Seems like you can be a serious ♥♥♥♥ in some dialogue options. Like keeping items you were suppose to deliver on a fetch quest. May not change much in general but atleast don't have to be all wholesome. If don't want to, can be an A-hole to some degree if choose so.

Yes, I wanted a school conflict, as is usually the case, even if it is a linear game. But if not, then no.

FAR too kind. You steal right in front of people. You break into their homes and steal from childrens bedrooms .... with the children still sitting on bed. Then walk out past the parents after zapping them in the face. There are no repercussions for anything.

Insult people in conversations and they will laugh it off just saying you're being "cheeky".
The slitherins are polite and the nicest folk around. I was hugely disappointed.

feels like a disney game...
The devs lied the whole time... good job.

The adults are all stupid and oblivious to the danger around them. The police are utterly useless and a complete joke. The poachers seem to outnumber regular citizens by at least a hundred to one. I don't know why they don't just vote themselves into power and set up a poacher state. It's up to the kids to set things right. It's that kind of story.

The most evil thing you can do in the game is to ask for payment after doing a quest. To which the quest giver will be shocked and appaled and say you're not at all the person they thought you to be. Makes you wonder what kind of person they believed you are if they hoped you're gonna kill trolls for them and dive to the bottom of the lake for their family heirloom for free.

This. Really wish there was something like the goblet of fire going on.

There should be some kind of punishment for bad behaviour. Spankings would seem to be appropriate.
