Owl Mail is extremely quiet

Sometime they can be normal volume but recently most of mine have been really quiet, its sometimes hard to hear what they say.

i would check that your audio in windows is set to stereo rather than 5.1 or something if you're not on a 5.1 type setup, enhance audio (windows) off, and in game set to headphones - even if you're not using headphones - and see if that helps. When I very first installed, I had a similar thing and it's like some of the dialogue are coming through a 'center speaker' that doesn't exist. YMMV, of course.

It was audible with the first batch of letters I got. But after further game progress, the owl letter readings have gotten a lot softer and leaning more to inaudible mumbles.

Game is buggy, later owls just pop up and don't even have audio.

I was screwing around with saves while doing the class where you learn Transformation. After a couple reloads of the same manual save, the letters suddenly became extremely quiet, while the same letters were normal volume before. I'm on PS5 too

Same here on PC. Using TV sound or PC sound. So low if I miss the envelope opening I don't hear it.
Rest of the audio seems to be fine.

Looks like WB aren't interested in fixing it let alone looking at it. Lot of pages of ignored Owl message problems on the above link from:->

Still appears to have no resolution. I assumed it was from a Mod i downloaded via the baked in mod page. But this thread tells me otherwise. Way to be WB
