Wired's trans journalist rated the game 1/10, despite the devs put a trans character into the game (Sirona). I understand why he is mad at Rowling, but I don't understand why he is mad at the game.

Because "mah politics". They're whining that JK Rowling gets royalties for the game, as if the creator of a franchise should not receive money for her creation just because they don't like her views. Activists generally have pretty stupid demands though so, no surprises.

They gave the game free advertisement. I've never played a Harry Potter game until now honestly. But I like open world games with exploration so. First time for everything.
