ROFL.
You'll regret saying that later in the game, if you spend talent points on upgrading plants.
I'm level 35. Played the game for 97.4 hours. And I'm still questing.
However, to date, the toughest fights that I've encountered in this game, can be easily solved by deploying Chomping Cabbage and Venomous Tentacula.
It's like throwing a lamb in a river full of piranhas.
The Mandrake plant is also good because it wipes out shields, and stuns enemies long enough to watch a rerun of Happy Days.
"throws cabbages"
"spawns tentacula"
"wanders outside and whistles a happy tune"
*wanders back in to collect 12 spider fangs and a troll bogey"
Yea, but the alternative is way faster. Drink a focus potion then roll face over keyboard to clear the entire room within seconds. I've no idea about the actual numbers, but it's like 300% cooldown reduction that synergizes with itself.

I agree, I actually like the combat a lot too. Potions are real fun because they don't take away from it too much but god they're so overpowered.
Lol, plants are useless?
Tell me you read a reddit post without playing the game without telling me
