What is the biggest spider in the game?

I think it's the macrolantula or something like that. It's big, really big. House big!

when you're about to enter the spider dungeon there are multiple wooden signs that warn you of extreme danger, spiders!

think its one of the side quest but there's a giant af black spider with red eyes as a boss

It's called the Acromantula. The game reused this bosses model twice I believe

Yeah.. I got the feeling I saw it twice.. once for a spider mission, and once for save an elf mission!

But honestly I was expecting a much larger Spider in the game just like Aragog in the second movie. I'm low key glad they didn't go down that road, because the spiders in the game are too much as it is.

There's always room for more bosses in the game though, perhaps a future DLC with the implementation of arachnophobia mode so both sides are happy? :)

Have to admit they did a fair job with the spiders.

But it does seem to AI in many NPCs and mobs is a bit weak, in my view.

Much yesss! I agree with this.

Personally I would have preferred it if the spiders could use a specific move that would inflict poison if it hits us. Then that would give the developers an excuse to implement the antidote potion. But as a Elden Ring player myself, I've just grown accustom to dodging enemies attacks flawlessly... :\

The biggest spiders are of similar size, just different model types and colours.

The Acromantula.

By far.

That thing is incredibly aggressive. It bites through shields and it can kill you in less than ten seconds after it's first bite.

The first bite wipes out your health bar, the second and third are so fast that you're dead in five seconds.

It was the only fight where I was forced to deploy Ancient Magic, Chomping Cabbage, and the Venomous Tentacula. Simply because it was a race to see who could kill the opposition quicker.

Absolutely deadly.

Just wish the spiders looked more realistic instead of something out of a bad sci-fi game or something. All those twisty pieces of carapace and the different colours like they're made of painted wood. They came across as really cartoony, even by Harry Potter standards. Disappointed, but that's becoming kind of a common theme with this game - the locales look fantastic, like the ravine filled with the spider webbing everywhere, winding paths and such through a completely webbed up bunch of passages almost like a maze, but then the enemies feel so...arcadey? Can't really explain it.
