Faces/textures not loading (Face glitch) FIX
Hello everyone, there is a very common issue many are facing where no matter what settings you have on, it just doesn't load face textures and instead shows you creepy low poly faces. I have a potential fix for these issues which has so far proven to be effective.

The Fix

Firstly, you want to navigate to your Hogwarts legacy game settings file.

- Head over to "This PC" and then into (C:)
- Users -> Your username
- AppData (If you can't see this, click "View" at the top, and tick "Hidden Items"
- Local
- Hogwarts Legacy -> Saved - > Config -> WindowsNoEditor
- Right click GameUserSettings -> Open with -> Notepad
- Scroll down until you see the heading "[ScalabilityGroups]"
- At the bottom of the list, change "s.RaytracingQuality" to "0"
- Lastly, change "sg.TextureQuality" to "4"
- File -> Save -> Close notepad.

Now just open up Hogwarts legacy and check out those faces!

Note
Try not to alter your graphics settings In-game once you have performed this fix, it can undo the changes and the face glitch can return.

Hope that helps!

Edit:

Hey all, if you're having performance issues on top of this, I also recommend updating the DLSS file as this fixed the problem entirely for me.

You can get the latest DLSS file here: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

You just need to go into your Hogwarts Legacy folder located in your Steam Library > steamapps > common > Hogwarts Legacy.

From here, it's easier to just type "DLSS" into the windows search and it will take you to the correct folder. It will be the DLSS > Binaries > ThirdParty > Win64 path, but the DLSS search will take you straight there.

Just create a backup of the DLSS file (just in case) and replace it with the new one that you downloaded.

I hope that helps further :)

Thanks it worked perfectly! Do we know what the 4 stands for? Because I had my textures quality at Ultra, but that seemed to be displayed in the file as a 3.

Hello! Will it alter the game if they fix that bug in a patch or with any patch?

Thank you this worked perfectly, And you are right if you alter the graphics settings too much it will revert back like it did to me but it was easy to redo

I tried changing it but once, I restarted the game. The settings automatically returned to the original state

I have the same problem but no texture loads but when I delete all the files in WindowsNoEditor the game resumes beautiful graphics but at the bottom ... and I played in extreme so it's great ... but I have a little bitter taste because it could be better

at the beginning it worked just fine and now it’s absolutely awful and I can’t seem to fix it… does anybody have any other tips?

I did your suggestion on the DLSS file and now I can't get into my game - I now get Windows blue screen. Thanks.

A DLSS file can't affect the games loading, nor can it cause a blue screen.
