''Add a trait to an item of clothing'' quest

Conjured the loom, added traits to a couple of items of clothing but the quest won't continue or end, it's acting like I haven't done anything. Am I missing something obvious here or is the quest bugged? Anyone else had this issue?

you need to put it on all peaces you are wearing, and upgrade them at least once

Yeah done that, put at least one trait on everything it would allow me to do so. Still nothing though, quest is acting like I haven't done anything and I can't complete it

You have to click on View traits then select a trait in the list, then click Weave Trait

Again, yes, I've done that but the quest still won't proceed....

I had the same issue and had to find my login information so I could try and help you out haha. I’m playin on the ps5 but once you go into the enchanted Loom menu. Go over the gear and hit view trait. Then it’ll allow you to assign a trait you discovered to the “trait slot” that is upgraded from the gear menu. Hope this helps and makes sense lol

Make sure whether it is asking you to apply a trait or an upgrade. They are not the same thing.

Did you upgrade or just add a trait? I believe that challenge is upgrading not adding traits.

reload a save game before u started the quest, hopefully you still have one

Just to clarify

I've added the traits via actually weaving the trait to the item, I did this for about 4 pieces of clothing

I'm aware adding a trait and upgrading an item are two separate things and I have done both

I went back and weaved yet another trait but the quest will still not progress any further

me personally i wanted to add a tier 1 trait to my tier 2 slot hat but the game crashed at this moment. anyone may have a fix ?

I was getting ready to ask if the quest trait 'inferno' was chosen - but it seems the issue was more simple then that. The Loom gives the player 2 choices . . . . .
