I get you fearing them since I'm a little bit jumpy with them myself, but I know there's a big difference between video game ones and real life versions. It's like you people somehow can't distinguish between the two.
I know the dungeon you're referring to, a mission for a little friend. The only time I jumped while playing Hogwarts.
Mind you it's not as bad as when playing Skyrim. I rushed into large opening in a dungeon and have a giant spider land on me...many swear words were spoken that day.
I think the only thing that kinda tilts me towards the opposite direction of this is the phrasing of the OP; "[...]they are everywhere in the forest and they will be the whole game. Not cool." .... like really, we knew that the forbidden forest was definitely gonna have spiders and they complain with "not cool", which honestly just sounds whiny and entitled to me (read: my own feels about this, not how OP might actually mean it)
For anyone not getting arachnophobia, since it's just pixels: I got arachnophobia myself to a great degree and it's utterly frustrating. Try to imagine seeing a tiny spider and hyperventilating over it, even though you know it's totally harmless and you can crush it with a finger. And yet you can not control your body and mind and you get even more upset over that fact. --- depending on the severity of the phobia, this can extend to fictional stuff too. Depends also on what upsets you about spiders (which can be hard to pinpoint). It can be the jittery movement, the eyes, not being able to predict their moves, etc. - or just the general appearance.
I used to not have too much regard for other people's phobias either, until I met a friend who had the same issue as me - but with mice and I love mice! They're adorable, harmless floofs. But that guy once nearly fainted when we played a prank on him by putting a fist on his shoulder in the middle of the street while walking and said "oh sh*t, A MOUSE!". Obviously, how could there ever be a mouse? But the fear just basically negates all logic in that moment. That kinda made my brain *click*
"Nobody's forcing you to play it" OK nobody is forcing you to read or reply to this. Also makes no sense for people to have any beef against someone asking to include an option because again, nobody is forcing YOU to have the option turned on if you don't want it.
Nothing in this game scared me in the slightest. But this genuinely startled me too.
