Way, way, way too easy.
On Hard difficulty you can... Go immortal with 1 talent point for Edurus potions. Say it with me... Immortal. Merely keep pressing Tab to pause the game, or whatever key you have, and keep clicking the potion you can carry 12 of with no cool down. Died? Don't worry. Everything you had or used before you died will come right back to your inventory. Hard... Do I even need to touch on Thunderbrew+Maxima?

The character kill mechanic is laughably easy. No matter how hard you get chunked or how bad you play, your character will go invulnerable automatically at 0% life. It is here than you can take as many health potions as you want, even while lying on the ground with no animation that you drank the potion. There are no cooldowns on health potions either, thus making Hard once again seem silly easy.

Yes, this is a Harry Potter game that was made for a large audience and console gamers. That will never, ever be a reason to have created the easiest Hard mode of any RPG ever.
Get rid of Edurus immortality and get rid of the cheat death that has 0 cooldown. There are a lot of very good adaptations to combat in Hard in this game... But none of that matters if you can live invulnerable and cheat death in your sleep. The only way I had any fun toward the mid to late game (Btw this game was disgustingly short) was by setting my own rules for never using buff potions or game breaking talents.

Thanks for reading.

Being unskilled is so much better and laid back.. You'll understand when you grow up.

Yeah its super easy even on hard. You can basically just Imperio every enemy and just stealth kill them. Or simply chain Avada Kedavra an entire enemy camp. Its fun but one of the easiest games Ive ever played.

I honestly agree. I was expecting to make better use of potions and such to beat hard, much like you need to in Witcher. But honestly it's far too easy, you can just ignore the potions. They're basically just redundant content. Which is a shame.

Ohh, that is problem very easy to deal with by yourself. Just play Ironman mod. So if you died just go delete your save and start game from 0 like everyone else and game would stop be boring

The game isn't about testing your reflexes so of course it is going to be on the easier side. I mean why would a harry potter game be Dark Souls? How would that make sense. You are supposed to be casting spells that actually do nothing, not flailing your arms to reduce an arbitrary hp stat by 10 per hit.

Because that would be a staggering level of hypocrisy, if that were the case...:lunar2020gigglemonkey:

That's not hypocritical, it is sadistic. They just hate other people and want to stroke their epeens while thinking about how other people struggled to do something that was so easy for them. But if other people had a game mode that worked for them then they wouldn't be able to stroke their epeen so hard.

The hardest difficulty should be challenging.

Unfortunately it's not in this game.

The start when you're learning all the mechanics was enjoyable, but soon enough the game becomes a cakewalk and once the challenge is gone for me, the game becomes a little stale.

Yes is it. But is in your hand make it difficult or not.

I also exploit 'bug' for potions. Thunder + maxima + Inmortal. (Winning a battle without hitting) but them my recommendation to increase the difficulty.

1 - Don't use plants or potions (since you can't remove talents or start a new game)
2 - Don't use black spells
3 - Don't upgrade your armor
4 - Don't upgrade 'transform' spell
5 - Don't use one-hit kill from invisible back
6 - Don't carry more than 9 heal potions (instead of 25)

And here you are a real Hard difficulty.

if you good handy with mechanic - yes. But as for me - this game to hard even on normal. Keyboard settings awfull as for me. I couldnt complet 1st test, so i played most time on history mode.

This game is not easy.

Try to play arround with settings and remap your controls to something that suits you better, I personally am playing with controller as the m+kb settings are terrible for me XD
Another thing these devs clearly have no idea how lock-on system is suposed to work XD
Camera always at wrong angle, you have to manullay move it to saty locked on, loosing target when preforming dodge or target moves out of our FoV, etc etc

Yup. Single player game too easy? No problem, just play it in your style.
I have to agree. Even though I had lots of fun with the combat mechanics, it's surprisingly very easy, especially later into the game. Even on Hard you're basically immortal if you use potions. But even without them, it's just not as hard as I presumed it'd be. Can't imagine how easy it would be on Normal difficulty or below.

Yeah man! Why do people always assume we are some angry, sweaty pricks for just wanting a challenge. I am not sure how some peoples ego's got so warped, but yo... You can be a chill, kind person and want a challenge lol... I guess if people are actually struggling on lower difficulties they might get triggered by this forum?
