Hogwarts: Legacy, Install & download restarting from 0%, every time it was nearly completed.

Had this happen twice now, still not completed downloading, sent this to steam support maybe they can tell from the log files what is going on, all other steam games are downloading and are playable without any issue.

Maybe somebody has faced this issue as well, seems the content is still taking up space on my drive, but the downloaded progress restarts from 0%?

Last week when I had this I thought I'd be smart and just copy the completed content out of the downloading directory, paste it back into the destination directory after having pressed uninstall, but unlike how steam usually detects already present downloaded content this did not work either.

Anyway, I'm positive that this title will play beautifully once it's finally install & downloaded
in my opinion one of the finest games to be released in a long time for the pc.

So it appears that from what I can read here in the discussions that, because of the game being patch so regularly, this might be the cause for downloading the content restarting from 0% or some other percentage, still no clue how to resolve this.

i have same problem , so i uninstalled and re-downloaded the game just to be greeted with same patch today with the same issue It s worked for 1 day mind u

I wasted hours and hours just becuase of this issue; I was patching it & when it was near 90% It restarted (didn't see it, but when I last checked it was about 79% so I went in my phone for few ) & I checked again & I found it downloading at 2 % O.o
it happend Twice so Im going to reinstall it & waste more hours, damn it!
