When you launch does it appear in task manager? If so, does it say (Not Responding) out next to it?
What are your specs?
I don't think OP is even making it that far. Yours on the other hand is a bit easier to perhaps figure out. And unfortunately you're probably right.
After the trigger warning, it optimizes shaders, in which case I'd bet your card is then just saying nope and crashing out.
What are your specs? What version of windows are you on? [/quote]
Saw your other post but heres what I said agein,
The Windows version im on is Windows 10 Pro 22H2. DESKTOP-D6JS31C.
When I launch the game is just says (Running) when I press play, then dosent say anything and stops. The game just dosent launch at all. Dosent say (Not Responding) next to it.
Iv'e got all the specs for my PC, thats not the issue.
Atleast your graphic card doesn't fit the recommend or the minimum requirements to run the game

We will need more infos about your PC components to make sure it is fitting the requirements
Task manager wouldn't say running, need to look in there.
Also, what are your PC's specs? CPU / GPU / RAM amount

I opened up Task Manager and when I clicked play on Hogwarts Legacy with it running, it doen't say anything next to it.
Specs 4200U CPU / 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable) / SATA SSD
And what is your GPU?
under display adapters ive got: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Its not the NVIDIA or AMD ones.
Unfortunately, I'd say here's your issue. Your CPU is below minimum spec (i5-6600), and you're running onboard graphics.
Honestly, and as much as I'd hate to say it. You should still be under the 2 hour play time window, since it won't even launch for you. I'd request a refund. Even if you do some how get the game to launch, the playing experience is going to be really really bad.
This game is pushing even high end hardware limits at the moment, and your system is below even the minimum specs.
So unfortunately, it would appear your issue is your computer.
Yeah, thanks for letting me know. Dident know I could request a refund below a certain play time. Guess I'll have to get a better computer then in order to play this game. What a shame. Also my ram is 16GB but I know some people would say to get more ram for this game. Ill look into a refund and try to purchase the game when I get a better computer.
I need a new one anyways as my laptops a few years old now.. Thanks again! Just would love to play this game because Ive been waiting forever. <3
Glad I could help, really hated having to give you bad news. Chin up though, PC parts are coming down right now if you stay away from the DDR5 craze and build on older generation hardware.
