(SPOILERS) Regarding Sebastian line of quests

So I finally finished the main quests and really wanted to talk about his quests in particular because for me and it seems that for most others they were the most interesting. I was always exciting when i received an email from him to continue doing them.

But finishing them I found really confused as to what i should have chose regarding his fate. I choose to report him in but since I don't really know much about HP at all and don't remember everything i don't really know where is that i'm sending him, meaning that i don't know all the details from Azkaban, is it really that bad? I feel like he deserves some kind of punishment but he seemed to regret everything he did... he had good intentions but sadly he went to insane in the end.

What do you think of the quests and what have you guys chosen?

Also, is there a way to stop him at all or you always end up having him retrieve the relic and end up the way he does?

Azkaban for using killing curse is for life I believe, I don't see how that's going to help anyone he's not a bad kid he just obsessed over saving his sister and would do anything to achieve that. He's just misguided, I chose to not rat him out personally but that's just me.

After all his uncle was a cretin who didn't want to do anything to help his niece and thwarted every attempt to save her that he could so I couldn't care less about him ngl.

I didn’t report him to the ministry because it was clearly a spur in the moment thing, one he showed remorse for soon after… so I really do believe it was a genuine mistake.

I saw no point in taking Anne’s brother away from her, especially at this point where she has no one else.
Also, in all fairness his uncle pointed his wand at us first? I was merely a bystander in that situation, and he attacked ME for no reason other than I was Sebastian’s friend.

I felt sorry for Sebastian's uncle, but honestly he was as obsessed with letting Sebastian's sister die as much as Sebastian was obsessed with letting her live. The only thing I had a problem with was HOW he died; It felt like it should've been a split-second decision mid-duel, but it was made super dramatic for some reason.
