When will Hogwarts Legacy be on sale?

I know the game just came out so its early to be asking, but I'm wondering when the game might be on sale. I don't have 60 bucks to throw at it right now, so I just wanted to know when the soonest time I might be able to get it on a discount might be.

Realistically it might be a while, but if they did do a discount, might be steams summer sale the earliest.

Typically it takes 2 to 4 months to see any significant discount on any new game of 15% or more. there was a good youtube video covering it tracking two years of new releases to the time it took to reach a 50% or more discount.

Probably summer or end of year sale but dude, really? Asking about a sale a week after release? I mean this in the best way possible since you were polite in your OP but if you're worrying about a sale for a game that just came out and can't afford $60, maybe you should prioritize other things first before video games.

Edit: you can get it cheaper off of key sites I think, Idk I don't use them but others here might be able to direct you to a reputable key site where you can get it for less than $60. Perhaps that way you can get it without waiting for a sale sometime in the future.

Typically discounts will start to happen based on the number of projected purchases. If not enough people are buying the game, they will start rolling out discounts to entice people to continue purchasing. Given how popular this game is, you might not see a heavy discount until next year. I predict you might see 10% this winter sale though!

Certain platforms might choose to offer discounts sooner like Platform who shall not be named :v

I got it for roughly 15% off at a competitor website. Otherwise, my best guess would be the Steam Summer Sale in June.

Why do people aask this, as if the player base will know. No one ever from the player base will know about any game being onsale unless they work for the company. We can only guess.
