Can't talk to NPC

Hello
My game crash during a cutscene.
When i restart the game, i can't talk to the NPC anymore.
I try doing the mainquest and go back to the NPC later but it didn't work.
Did someone have a solution that didn't imply reinstaling the game ?

have you tried reloading a save? it seems to help for me the times it happened. also teleporting to another part of the map and coming back 30min later (circa) also can seem to work as it deloads the biom and then reloads it again.

I try reloading a save but don't have one before the crash.
I have a manual save 3h before this, i guess it still better than nothing

try make a new save while the npc dont work. then reload that save, and he should be fixed.
Are you sure it is not a npc tied to the storyline? they cant be talked to before certain triggers has been reached.
like the cloth store :)

I try this but it still doesn't work.
That's the NPC who sell broom. I need to buy a broom after the flight lesson and for learning a new spell

Hmm well then you probely hit the same error as me, where the bug is hard coded into the save file, and will have to start over.

You can try make an appeal on the games website so the developers can fix it. but at this point i think it is a lost battle :/

I'll try restart a manual save before the crash and hope it can fix it instead of restart the game from the start.

Me to, in the forbidden Forest, my games don't crash but i don't see NPC

I had to reload a save before the crash happend.
Now, i save every time i finish a quest

I also cannot talk to Gladwin Moon to finish the Alohamora III quest.

Guys, don't make a new character and start all over again

The glitch is within the game and so far there's no fix. Some unfortunate players, like me will really crash everytime this quest happens.

I found a way to get pass this without starting all over again.

Continue to play and finish all the missions until you get to the point where you get to access the ability to ride a hippogriff. When you have one already, fly around and you'll see the balloons floating randomly around. Pop 2 Sets (5pcs per set) and it will reward you with a broomstick. The broomstick related missions will continue normally.

(Except the flight test, wherein you need to buy a broomstick from hogsmeade.)
