Completely agree, the "GeForce Experience" software has massive bloat and ends up consuming more resources than its Optimizations can make up for

Which takes forever especially if you don't know what exactly each option does and what you need to look for to assess whether it affects the visuals much

Right Now GeForce Experiance Is Showing Every Setting As "ULTRA" With RT As "HIGH" For My RTX 2080 @ 1080p.

Considering The Fact That I Had To Manually Tweak In Game Settings To "Medium / High" With RT "OFF" Just To Get A Stable 60 (ish) Fps, I Think They (GeForce Exp) have Not Tweaked Anything Yet.

You only need to learn it once, which takes less time than the time it'll take to diagnose what's wrong with your game once GFE inevitably screws up the configuration.

I mean the only thing I turned off from the optimization was Raytracing and now running on Ultra with regular 50-60fps. Hogsmead is 40-45 for me

GeForce always tunes games wrong, and is a messy affair overall. You can already do even more in Nvidia control panel.

it's available since the release day.. i always played with nvidia gforce experience since the start, anyway optimised settings or low settings doesn't change anything, the slutters still to be in any case, and worst since the patch, now it happen to randomly CTD, this game is an optimisation mess and will still to be until a really serious patch, it use randomly 10% then 50% of CPU in one second for nothing then back to normal, the same thing with the RAM it can take 2gb of RAM then one second later it take 16GB then back to normal without moving or doing something between the two usage ^^ and for graphic it's the same it can use 50% of GPU then 90% for no reason !! other games, largely better with more huge graphic than this work in full setting but not this game, it's a shame to see a game optimised so poor like that in 2023, this is totally no pro ! we speak about a game develloped on unreal engine 4, with no better and no more huge graphics than 5 or 6 years old other games, who doesn't work better and worst than last recents games develloped on unreal engine 5 with largely more huge graphics !
