Phoenix disappeared

After doing Deek's mission for the phoenix, i thought it strange that you'd get one feather and the bird would disappear. I searched about this and apparently the phoenix is supposed to have ended up in one of my vivariums, but it hasn't... Am I missing something or making a mistake or is it just a glitch?

Did new vivarium appear? When you rescue it the new one appears in the room. Maybe you missed that.

Make sure you go into one of your vivariums and do the manage beasts button to actually release it into the vivarium. It could still potentially be in your nab bag. Oh also if you already did that and cant find it but the game says its in the vivarium, there is a button in the manage beasts menu to summon specific beasts to you as well incase you may have missed that, it can be flying around.

The vivarium is up the stairs and to the right (as you're looking at them from the ground floor) of the "swamp" vivarium.

Maybe it burst into flames and was reborn from the ashes?

You're probably going to the wrong vivarium. It's in the last one that opens, the mountains, which is on the opposite side of the main room from the other 3.

This exact thing happened to me as well. I have checked all 3 vivariums using the h menu in each and the phoenix is not in any of them.

You didn't see your room change to give the Phoenix its own home? You didn't see it fly into that new home, or follow it there?

There should be a 4th vivarium after the questline for the Phoenix.

To everyone confused, I was confused too at first there is a 4th vivarium in the back upstairs.
