How is the voice acting in other languages?

In German, voice acting is ridiculously bad, as if the actors didn't even know they were voicing a Harry Potter game. It's just so lifeless.

I play in Latin American Spanish (mexico), and it's kinda good tbh, but the problem is he sounds like is in a church, just the main character voice has this bug, it sounds like a robot idk, but the performance isn't bad at all.

Did you perhaps change the pitch? It is supposed to be fixed in an upcoming patch. So far from what I have read is that the original pitch and the low/high pitch changes are superimposed on top of each other giving it that robotic sound (known bug). The game also has a bug when it starts to lag that the audio copies it self in the open world (outside of Hogwarts) that same robotic sound. I too hope that this will get fixed soon.

In french it's pretty bad, like in the movies translated from another language. But not surprised, like usual.

German VA is almost always terrible, why do you endure this? Switch to english.

In Italian is pretty bad too and it's unusual. I frequently switch to Italian when a game english dub is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I'm often relieved to have this option. This time the italian dub is even worse than the original

Even worse on console. The game doesn't have a language option ingame so i had to change my system settings.

The german voice over is not so bad in my opinion. I switch to german when my daughter is playing and I definitely heard much worse synchronisation. Of couse, english sounds better.

tbh before i know shes voiced by a dude i just thought "damn this girl sounds like she smoked for 150 years"

The female voice in German is totally awkward, speaking with a slight bavarian accent and mumbling to herself all the time. It does not fit the setting at all. I switched to English and it got better although I would have preferred to have the rest of the game in German. There are quite some English words I've never even heard of. Generally, many voices obviously were recorded in home studios, they differ very much with not much attention being paid to match them.

I played many Ubisoft games and tbh, they always do an excellent job with German dubbing. In the English AC Odyssey the characters were speaking with a ridiculous accent, not so in German. I recently played Far Cry 6 and, then again, the voice acting was phenomenal.

French is bad too. Sometimes the MC will be whispering and the NPC in front of them will talk loudly. But it feels like it was rushed which led to the actors being misdirected more than anything.
And the silly unrealistic dialogues just doesn't help.
