Missing skip dialog option

I guess the lack of skipping dialog option is deliberate... But for returning characters and dialog, like changing room of requirements ambience, could we have a skip dialog option? At least for those?
For some reason keybinding C comes to mind.

on a controller, you can press y to skip dialog.

However, i have found sometimes it doens't work. It does however, work the vast majority of the time.

That said, someone else made a similar complaint earlier today. So it is possible this is bugged for some.

I'm not sure you can skip the shorter, repetitive dialog you mention. But you can skip the story dialogs.

You can with "Y" on the xbox controller... cant tell ya what that is for keyboard tho

Right click to skip line by line. You'll still have to wait if there's an animation needed for the cutscene, but you can certainly skip dialogue.
Edit: a must when talking to Deek, you can zip through changing the lights in a few seconds.

I had to look it up. I felt it had to be a reference I missed. And it turns out it was.

Worst part is it was from a movie I actually watched. So now I am a sad panda.
