Main player's voice acting sounds terrible

Every time my character speaks, I am taken away from the immersion because it just feels... off. It almost sounds tinny; I don't really know how to explain it. Maybe like overdone on the lower ends? I really don't know how to phrase it, but it puts me off a lot

Yeah, the pitch changer gives it a robotic sounding effect to it. Out of everything that is the weirdish issue this game has.

did you adjust the pitch lower? the pitch shifting algorithm is really bad in this game. I would just leave it default

Going with one pitch higher makes your voice sound like Harry Potter in the movies. DID not bother me much

it is a common complaint that using the pitch feature causes issues. Whether it be a tinny voice, an echo, or anything else. So it's worth checking it out.

dunno what you pick but my female character's voice sound decent enough. If not to say i've taken a liking and would like to know who the actor was.

You have to set voice pitch to the centre/middle option. It's a known issue, the developers did a poor job of higher and lower pitches

i feel like even the default voice just doesn't suit the charachters, the voice actors did a good job but their own picth just isn't suited to a charchter that feels older than their voice. like idk it feels like both defaults are too high pitched and sound like little kids, while the charahcter you play just feels like theyd have a deeper voice. But the deeper voices on the pitch slider are just robotic
