Windowed fullscreen

Is it possible to play on fullscreen and not windowed fullscreen?
I have only 2 options windowd and windowed fullscreen

Does it even matter anymore? Never had a game improving performance by going Fullscreen despite people saying otherwise, or it's due to some other reason?

It doesnt matter. Borderless is pretty much the same as fullscreen.
Theres just less delay when alt tabbing.
For oldergames it matters as you can often get a few fps. But new games, in most cases will not matter. how ever some games you do get a bit better performance depending on your rig. But in reality it shouldnt matter as theyre pretty much 1 in the same. its why you see it less and less these days, because theres no difference really

Full screen will allow you to vsync.

Go to: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

Open: GameUserSettings.ini

Find and change (add) under [/script/phoenix.phoenixgamesettings] group:
FullscreenMode=0
LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=0
PreferredFullscreenMode=0

supposedly directx 12 does not have exclusive full screen mode anymore, there was another thread that went over it a day or so ago.

Yeah it matters. Sometimes quite a bit.

You might have fullscreen optimizations turned off, if you NEVER notice a difference.
