The first sentence of your 2nd paragraph contradicts your opening sentence.
What you described I would have no issue with, but that is clearly not what that other poster was implying.
Give me 1 game when there is a full blown sex scene going on.
Even Cyberpunk is censoring that part.
You took their comment like that, not me. At most sex in games is implied. Not shown. And even cyberpunk which is pretty... revealing, is just pure vanilla.
Plenty of degenerate sex games on Steam if you want to scratch that itch. This game isn't the place.
Those are sims, not actual games. I don't need a dating sim.
Fair enough, point taken.
Either way, the reason why they won't be making this is not because it's wrong, it's because of the tags, and the need to cast as wide of a net as they can to grab in more sales. Even DoS2 had to be rated M, despite being as it is.
It's not creepy at all. (Unless you are taking it a step further...)
Let's put it simply.
Intercourse is the goal of romance. It's the whole point. The "whole shebang" if you will. Always has been, always will be.
So when people come to this forum and ask about romance in this game, where you're playing as a teenager, it comes off as odd and makes the person asking about it seem like they're interested in having intercourse with teenagers.
we know that it is adults asking. Some of us can't disassociate an adult asking for teen npc romance even if it's for "role play"
That doesn't mean that it's wrong. it just means that it's weird to some of us.
It is the same ick factor when people are talking about how their female protagonists aren't hot.
You may not be same people. You may have innocent intention... the benefit of the doubt? No.
That's not it at all. Obviously teenagers in the real world have relationships and have "romances" and sex with each other.
The issue is that some apparent adults here want to engage in sex with teenagers in a game. They want it so badly and want other people to sympathize with them that instead of just finding the answer on Google, they had to make posts about it here in the hopes that others will commiserate with their foul desire.
The 5th year characters are 15 years old. There is a reason there is no romance yet.
