Easy way to reduce map and menu delay?

Hi,

Is there an easy way to reduce the delay when open ing the field guide or the map?

Its one of my few annoynces i think are unneccesary but i also haven't found a mod for it.

It's lightning fast for me.

Overall, including your processor, video card, and RAM, Is your computer powerful?

And are you using an SSD?

You can't avoid the cinematic swoop when opening the map as far as I can tell, but I have learned it's faster to close the interface by pressing the hotkey for whichever page is open.
e.g., Open the map with 'M' and then press "M' again to close it, instead of cycling through the two other menus.

Are you using an HDD or an SSD? If it's an old hard drive, that might contribute to longer delays with this game.

I'm using an NVM.

My frames are between 20-40 but it doesn't feel like its just fps issue. It does feel that they delay is on purpose this 'cinematic swoop'.
