Official flying cheat? Lol!

After missing the first flying competition several times (I think it's close to impossible unless maybe you play with a gamepad) I was asked if I wanted to cheat the result in order to win. Of course I wanted to do that, lol. But I'm wondering: Is this part of a low difficulty level or does it happen on all levels?

I gave up on the flying race because there were several times I had to stop to see where the next damn hoop was. It just got too annoying.

I finished every flying race with at least 40 seconds left on the clock, I thought it was impossible to fail lol
