Steam Cloud deleted saves

Me and my girlfriend use the same steam account. She has put 10+ hours in this game before i tried to link my pc to the same steam cloud. I did this because i played on her pc this weekend and now i am back home and wanted to continue playing on my pc where i left off on our shared account.

Anyways, yesterday i tried to link up my pc to steam, downloaded the game and started playing. When asked to use local or steam cloud files, i pressed the steam cloud. I couldn't acces the same files as on her pc and left it at that. Later to my supprise her files on her pc were also gone. As i mention she put 10+ hours in the game already. When she opened the game, the intro started playing and her character was gone.

Does anyone know how to acces game files from 2 days ago (even if in game they don't appear) and how to play from those files?

Try to go to your Steam Library and click on Hogwarts Legacy. Check if the Cloud-Status next to the play button is synced. If not click on it for it to sync and load your cloud save.

I'm seeing a lot of these complaints lately. I'd start backing up my saves mates. If ya don't know where they are located they are at C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Hogwarts Legacy. Hope this helps some and good luck.
